Olivia

Garrett's sister Arlette, finally had her baby girl (last month)!  After three boys, and eight years between the babe and the last boy, this girl was an exciting addition to say the least.

Me and Liv meet. Love.

Liv's flower was crocheted by my sister
Loving little Liv's big yawn. New babes are the sweetest.
Adelade meets Olivia. Both girls don't know how they feel about having their picture taken.
Addy trying to give us a big smile.
Eyes open for a minute.
Oh my goodness.
Cute post yawn face.
OH my gosh my husband is hot. And holding a baby is even hotter. And wanting another one, super hot.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Everything was flocked here in V-town for a few days so I took the opportunity to take some family pictures. I originally planned to send them out as Christmas Cards but I kept having technical difficulties with Photoshop and my edited images were blurry when I would print them out. GRRR. I really need to practice with Photoshop more. Anyway, I also took the first images in RAW format. Another GRRRR. I don't know how/don't have a program to convert images from RAW to be viewable on my computer. Sooooo... I got everybody dressed in the same clothes and tried it again the next day.
Thank goodness the frosted-beauty lasted for one more day.
Here's the 4 best pictures from our
Winter Wonderland
shoot.

It's nice to have best friends forever

Ok so it's a little lame to say "Oh she's my BFF".  But  hey, sometimes it's really true.  It's the most wonderful thing in the world to have a best friend.  A friend that you can pick up right where you left off with.  Even if you haven't seen this friend for 3+ years.  A friend that knows you and loves you (even when you're a one woman circus).  A friend that you can be honest with and tell everything to.
Just a dang good friend.  I'm lucky because I have a few of those. But today let me introduce you to one awesome friend that also used to be my roommate.  SO even more "best" than usual....

Meet Brittany.

And her little man, Roman.

He's adorable right?

What a great visit!!!
We ate good food and talked and talked and TALKED.
It was over in a flash.
I miss her.
But I know she will still be my BFF.

26

Being 26 isn't much different than 25 or 24 or 23 or 22......  I still feel like I'm 18.  When people ask my age it takes me a second to remember how old I am.  Birthday's aren't like they used to be.  I'm ok with that though.  I get so much more excited for my child's special day then I've ever felt for my own day of birth.  I have to admit that G-buddy still tries to make my birthday's feel special and I'm grateful for that. He's a good man. I love him.  This year it was dinner with friends and family and gorgeous flowers. A good day.

See I'm still a big 18-year-old goof ball.

He baked me a Texas sheet cake. Mighty good man.
